Legal
Terms & Conditions
By using this website and our products, you agree to the terms below.
Use of the site
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, disrupt it, or attempt to access it in ways we haven't authorized.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and code of this site are owned by Limen Digital Studio unless stated otherwise. Where we issue a license key with a product, your use of that product is governed by the license granted with it.
Products & services
Specific engagements and products may be covered by their own quotes or agreements, which take precedence over these terms where they conflict. Refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.
Custom work
The work is what the quote describes. Anything outside it is new work, quoted separately, and we will always say so before starting rather than after.
Work begins once you confirm the quote and the build fee is paid. We confirm that start date by email so it is never in question, and from that point the build fee is treated as described in the refund policy.
When a build is complete and paid for, you own it: the site, the code, and the content we produced for you. We keep the right to show the finished work publicly as an example of ours unless you ask us not to.
What we need from you
Custom work depends on you too. We need your content, feedback, and approvals to finish a build, and we may pause a project if we cannot get them. A project delayed or abandoned for reasons on your side does not entitle you to a refund of work already done.
Payment
Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars and are a starting point, since every build is quoted to the business it is for. Card payments carry a processing fee shown at checkout before you pay. Monthly fees for hosting, maintenance, and subscriptions continue until cancelled, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
